Dates, Networks, and Locations

The 2024 United States presidential debates will take place on the following dates and networks:

• September 29, 2024: CNN, Nashville, Tennessee
• October 7, 2024: PBS, Miami, Florida
• October 15, 2024: ABC, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Debate Format

Each debate will consist of three segments of 30 minutes each. The topics and moderators for the debates have yet to be announced.

Eligibility

Only candidates who meet certain polling thresholds or qualify for federal funding will be invited to participate in the debates.

Significance
